Our customers asked and we listened. When speaking with our customers, we kept hearing that you wanted tiered pricing. For those not in the know, tiered pricing allows you to offer dynamic pricing options for you customers based on the numerical selection of participants. e.g if one customer books then the price will be X, if more than one customer books the price will be Y. Y usually being lower than X. This enables suppliers to offer automatic discounts for larger groups, in turn enticing larger bookings for the supplier.
How does it work?
When a supplier is setting up their tour on the TripAdmit system, within the pricing section you prompted to setup ticket categories, this is usually an Adult, Child and a Senior.
Normally a supplier would then just add a flat price for each of these participant types. Now with tiered pricing if a supplier chooses to, they can add as many pricing tiers as they want.
A pricing tier is created by first inputting a minimum selection, this minimum selection is the ammount of participants a customer has to select before the pricing tier is applied to their booking.
In the selection box, customers see their saving being applied as they increase the number of participants, this promotes larger bookings and helps to propell the customer through the purchase flow.
