Interesting Booking Statistics
Day Activities Under 50 Euro
We found that day activities priced under 50 euros had an overwhelmingly high lead time of under 1 week, with over 90% of bookings made within this timeframe. This suggests that customers are seeking affordable and spontaneous experiences, looking to make the most of their time.
For multi-day activities, we observed an average lead time of 4 months for those experiences lasting over 7 days. On the other hand, activities lasting under 5 days had an average lead time of just 1 month. This indicates that customers tend to plan longer trips well in advance while leaving room for more flexibility in shorter getaways.
Indoor tours stood out with a lead time of between 1 and 5 days for 86% of bookings. This highlights the popularity of last-minute indoor activities that offer high availability, such as museum visits, brewery tours or cultural exhibitions.
Surprisingly, high-end tours priced over 500 euros showed an interesting balance in lead times. Approximately 40% of bookings were made over 2 months in advance, suggesting a desire for more planned and exclusive experiences. At the same time, another 40% of bookings were made within 1 week, indicating impulse-buying behaviour for those who are willing to invest in high-end experiences.
These booking statistics provide valuable insights into the preferences and behaviours of our customers during the high season. By understanding these trends, we can continue to advise our clients on how best to tailor their experiences to meet the evolving demands of their audience.
We look forward to the coming months and the opportunities they will bring. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting developments in the world of tours and activities!
