In this months customer spotlight, we take a look at British Routes Holidays. BRH has seen consistent sales for its activity based business. Nick speaks with us and tells us a bit more about his business and his plans for future expansion.
Can you tell us a bit about you and your business?
I am a history graduate who had lots of time on his hands in 2020 and decided to follow my passion having had an amazing guided experience in South America. I developed tours and activities that would create memories and amaze even the most seasoned traveller. As an independent tour company we help people discover the real places they visit, through history, myths and legends, and Horror stories.
Who is your main target demographic?
Families or travellers 25-50
What have you found to work successfully when reaching out to your target customer?
I find being active on social media platforms has been vital to my success. Driving sales via the website by blogging, photos on Instagram, regular tweets etc, but also gaining community to share all the posts we make.
Is this your first time selling online through the website?
What made our product a good fit for you?
The simplicity for customers to book directly with only 1 or 2 clicks has been vital. As well as the ease to add new products and have them running immediately has helped my success. Finally without the superb support from the team, through regular emails and zoom meetings has been invaluable in helping me develop my products and market them to a wider audience.
Have you noticed an increase in direct leisure business since integrating with TripAdmit?
The online sales has visibly grown over the period since I joined TripAdmit, the support in website development has certainly been a factor along with all the support from the team.
How do you see BRH growing in the future?
My business is expanding to new towns and cities as well as expanding into countryside walking tours. The British routes and Dark Chronicles brand is building a reputation for quality and reliability and it's down to the professionalism of TripAdmit that helps build the future for my business.
